What Is the Distributors Report?

The Distributors report aggregates key performance metrics at the distributor level, giving you a clear picture of how each distribution partner is performing over a selected time period. It combines trend charts, a market share breakdown, and a detailed comparison table to surface both high-level patterns and granular per-distributor data.

Charts

Sales Amount by Month — A stacked bar chart showing total sales revenue broken down by distributor for each month in the selected date range. Each color segment represents a single distributor's contribution to that month's total. This makes it easy to see overall revenue growth or decline and how the distributor mix is shifting over time.

Sales Amount by Distributor (Donut Chart) — A donut chart showing each distributor's percentage share of total sales revenue for the selected period. This gives a quick view of market concentration — which distributors represent the bulk of business and which are smaller contributors. Hovering over a segment shows the distributor name and their exact percentage.

Distributor Comparison Table

Below the charts, a detailed table lists every distributor with the following metrics side by side:

• Sales Amount — Total revenue generated through this distributor in the selected period.

• Trendline — A small inline sparkline showing the direction of sales performance over time — useful for spotting distributors that are trending up or down.

• Fill Rate — The percentage of ordered cases that were successfully delivered. Values above 100% can occur when delivered cases exceed ordered cases due to substitutions or adjustments.

• Ordered Cases — Total cases ordered through this distributor.

• Delivered Cases — Total cases actually delivered by this distributor.

• Average Cases per Drop — The average number of cases delivered per delivery stop. A higher number indicates more efficient, denser deliveries.

• Avg Dollar per Case — The average revenue per case delivered, useful for comparing pricing levels across distributors.

The table is sorted by Sales Amount by default but can be used to compare distributors across any of these dimensions.

Filters

Use the filter bar at the top of the page to scope the report:

• Distributor — Focus on one or more specific distributors.

• DC — Narrow results to a specific distribution center.

• Operator — Limit data to a specific operator's purchasing activity.

• Manufacturer — Filter by manufacturer to see how product mix varies by distributor.

• Date Range — Set a custom start and end date to control the reporting period.
